Let's take a deeper look into what each of the filters are and how you can use them to build your target list of providers. When applying filters, it is important to remember that your list of results is based on ALL filters you apply. This means that if you layer multiple filters onto your search, your list of results will need to match all applied criteria.
Segments
-
Segments: Segments can be created for you to help you quickly search for ideal target markets. Segments are based on the types of providers and organizations that you may want to target. Provider characteristics like specialties, procedures, Care Clusters, and more can be layered together to create the ideal customer profile. In this list, you will only see the segments that have been created for your team! IMPORTANT: Segments are not available for all Carevoyance accounts. If you do not have access to Segments, feel free to move to the next section of this lesson, or reach out to your designated customer support team for more information!

Time Period
- Time period: Choose whether to look at the most recent years of data, or view the data historically. Carevoyance only displays time periods that include both Medicare Part A and commercial claims. Medicare Part A is released quarterly and has a six month lag, and commercial is released monthly. Quarterly updates are made as soon as new Medicare data is available. When all four quarters in a year are available that will display as ‘latest complete year’ and will the be default for this search.
