  1. Segments

  2. Provider lists

  3. Saved Searches

  4. Codesets Searches

  5. Recent Searches

Note: Please keep in mind that not all areas of the homepage will pertain to your specific use case.

1. Segments

IMPORTANT: Segments are not available for all Carevoyance accounts. If you do not have access to Segments, feel free to move to the next section of this lesson, or reach out to your designated customer support team for more information!

Segments can be created for you to help you quickly search for ideal target markets. Segments are based on the types of providers and organizations that you may want to target. Provider characteristics like specialties, procedures, care clusters, and more can be layered together to create the ideal customer profile. Click on the segment name to run a search for providers that meet the criteria!

Let's look at an example together, in the image below, we can see that this account has a segment created for Hip/Knee Surgeon. By using this segment to run a search, my results would consist of any providers and organizations that fit the relevant specialty, procedures, diagnoses, care clusters, etc. for Hip/Knee Surgeons. Please note that additional filters such as geography can be layered on to a segment search through the search page!

2. Provider lists

Pro tip: Provider Lists are most useful for users with Field View specific use cases!

Provider lists are customizable inventories of your ideal providers and can be shared across your organization. When you run a search for your ideal providers, you will have the option to create and/or add individuals to a provider list. By adding to a provider list, it allows you to save specific individuals, instead of saving the entire search (think of this as a list of your favorite profiles). Update your provider lists at any time by adding new individuals or removing individuals that no longer fit your needsTo view any of your lists, click directly on the provider list name!

Provider lists can be helpful in instances where you have a very large search result list and only want to focus on the top 20 individuals for example. You can easily add these 20 individuals to a provider list, allowing you to quickly access the providers that matter most to you each time you log into your account!

3. Saved Searches

Saved Searches are customized lists of providers, organizations, and systems that you and other users at your organization have saved after running a search. These can be shared with individuals across your organization for easy access to the same searches or be made private so only you can view your search results. Saved searches will include any of your applied search criteria such as geography, specialties, and more!

4. Codesets Searches

Codesets can be created for you to help you quickly search for entire markets. Codesets are coding combinations comprised of one or multiple care clusters, diagnosis and/or procedure codes. These can be shared with individuals across your organization for visibility into the same insights. The purpose of a codesets search is to help you quickly search for all relevant providers based on the coding combinations that have been layered into each codeset.

Let's walk through a quick example together. If someone is interested in searching for radiation related insights, instead of running a search and manually adding on all relevant care clusters, or individual codes of interest, a codeset could be created to encompass ALL radiation care clusters, diagnosis and/or procedure codes to help efficiently capture the full market of radiation.

5. Recent Searches

The Recent Searches section of the home page allows you to view and navigate to the latest 20 searches you have recently created within the product. This list of searches provides you with the criteria that was applied to each search, which can help you understand what the search results will consist of.
