IMPORTANT: Please note that the data and components found throughout your account are dependent on your company's Carevoyance subscriptions. Access to Carevoyance is unique to each company, therefore the example images used in this training may differ from what you see in your account. Profiles are also based on the exact provider you are viewing, so keep in mind that what is available may differ slightly based on the focal provider. This training is meant to build a foundational understanding of provider profiles. For a detailed training on your specific use case, please reach out to your designated customer success team member.
What is a provider profile?
Provider profiles provide you with detailed information about a specific provider. All provider types tracked in Carevoyance will have an individual profile. There are multiple pages of data within each profile that help you uncover powerful insights for the focal provider. Throughout this lesson you will gain a foundational understanding of what a provider profile includes.
Let's get started!
How do you navigate to a provider profile?
Carevoyance has profiles for individuals, organizations, and systems. Listed below are the different ways that you can easily navigate to a provider profile.
-
Use the Market or Field modules: After using the Market or Field View modules to find your list of target providers, you will be able to jump into a provider profile by clicking on the name from your search results. Note: The profiles will differ depending on which module you are using, which we will cover later in this lesson!
-
Use the search bar: You can search for any provider in both Market and Field View by typing in the name of the provider directly into the search bar located in the upper-right corner of the modules!
-
Select them from your provider lists: If you've previously created a provider list, you can dive directly to any provider profiles after viewing that list.
-
From other provider profiles: When you are exploring provider profiles, you might come across another provider that you're interested in mentioned in their profile. As long as the text is hyperlinked, just click on the name to jump to their profile.
-
From a report: Some portlets will provide links to other provider profiles. If you are ever analyzing a report and see another provider that you may be interested in, just click on the name to dive into that profile.
Market View profile
Below we will cover the details found within the Market View profiles. If you have a Field View use case, feel free to skip this section!

- Reports: Use the 'Reports' button to run a report for the focal provider. Reports help you gain a deeper understanding of an individual or facility.
- Add to list: Use this quick link to add the focal provider to a provider list. You can either add them to an existing list or create a new one! Provider lists allow you to save specific individuals (think of this as a list of your favorite profiles) so that you can easily navigate back to them in the future.
- General Information: The left-hand panel of a profile will always provide you with general physician, organization, or system metrics. Here you can see provider contact information, or dive into a provider's affiliations by clicking on the linked provider names.
- Page navigation: Use the page options across the top of the profile to dive into the different metrics provided! Keep in mind that profiles vary depending on the profile type you are viewing, and therefore, not all pages are available on all profiles!
- Information icons: Anytime you see an information icon, feel free to hover over it to view a definition, calculation, and/or additional details on what that metric is! Some information icons are clickable and project a pop-up with even more details!
What's included in a Market View profile?
As we covered above, profiles will have multiple pages across the top of the profile that you can navigate through. The pages available may vary depending on which provider type you are exploring. Below you'll find a brief overview of what each profile page includes.
-
Overview (organization profiles): Sourced from the Medicare Cost Report (MCR), provides a snapshot of the clinical and financial metrics year-over-year, as well as payor mix and reimbursement values at the facility level.
-
Overview (individual profiles): Sourced from the Medicare Fee For Service (FFS) file, showcases overall patient demographics, as well as top procedures and diagnoses they've done overall. It will also provide the number of patients they've billed for any relevant codesets you select.
-

-

-

It will give you the amount they've received, the companies they've received it from, payment type, and more, to give you a better edge of who they're engaging with before setting up a meeting.
